I aim to create a growth-facilitating, compassionate environment to explore your experience, process your past and integrate distinct parts of yourself into a more balanced and harmonious whole.
Through my own experience, self-studies and therapeutic work, I've learned a lot about the human psyche, behavioural change, emotional regulation, mindfulness, honest communication, trauma processing, somatic processing, problem solving and the importance of taking responsibility for one's life and accepting who one is. During my psychology studies, I've gained the most from setting up and participating in a peer-support group in which we openly explored our experiences. I learned to cultivate attitudes of unconditional positive regard, genuineness and empathic understanding towards myself and others. I learned how to receive others more wholly and help them come closer to themselves by immersing myself in their experience as best as I could. During my work as a psychological counsellor, I've worked with people from all over the world from various backgrounds dealing with a wide range of problems related to work, relationships, substance use, trauma, developmental/emotional neglect, racism or other forms of discrimination, struggles with self-worth, lack of meaning, depression, suicidality, anxiety, difficulties with feeling and expressing emotions, standing up for themselves and setting boundaries and much more.
I want to share what I've learned with others who want help working through their difficulties (past and present), need supportbor want to get to know themselves better and learn how to live more fully. Through my counselling service, I wish to help you help yourself by providing you with a loving, caring environment to facilitate your personal growth, work through your past (traumas), learn to live more fully in the present and become who you truly are.
