As a sex therapist, I work with individuals and couples who want to improve their sexual health, overcome sexual difficulties/dysfunctions, need reliable and accurate information, and develop a deeper sense of intimacy with their partner. Sex therapy is a specialized form of therapy that involves the holistic application of cognitive and behavioral techniques to individuals experiencing sexual problems. Topics such as sexual anatomy and physiology, misconceptions related to sexuality, couple relationships, and sexual communication are addressed, and also behavioral home exercises to be applied individually and as a couple are provided. The sessions are talk-based and do not involve any physical contact.
Additionally, I work with individuals who have various mental distress and needs. I have expertise in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Psychodynamic therapy helps individuals explore their past experiences, unconscious thoughts, and internal conflicts to gain a better understanding of their daily behaviors and relationship dynamics. This process empowers individuals to better know themselves and cope with the challenges they face.
My practice centers on creating a non-judgmental, impartial, open, and warm environment where individuals can articulate their inner thoughts and feelings freely. I firmly believe in the importance of establishing a robust therapeutic alliance with my clients, recognizing that this relationship serves as the cornerstone of healing. Within this empowering bond, I accompany individuals in understanding the unconscious processes and conflicts that underlie their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, fostering self-awareness and insight into their experiences.
