The interesting thing about psychology is that we can only perceive and understand the mental life of others on the basis of our own experiences. By getting closer to our real selves, we are bound to improve the quality of interaction with others. This is why I am fascinated by the psychodynamic approach, which is based on the theories of psychoanalysis. It is more than a concept of mental disorders and their treatments. It is always a way to a deeper self-awareness and personal wholeness.
Unlike psychoanalysis, in the psychodynamic method we work in the present, with current themes and currently available resources, while referring to the client's biography.
In addition to the psychodynamic approach, I also use in my work the integrative methods of the third wave of Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy.
