In my private practice, experiential and psychodynamic therapy with a relational context form the base of my psychotherapy practice and I believe that they are nurturing each other. This approach is based on understanding human beings in a deep way from different point of views, taking into account that human beings can have various desires or conflicts derived from subconscious and/or life issues. According to these approaches, if we can understand those desires and conflicts in a good enough way, we can come close to enjoy life, having meaningful relationships and move away from suffering symptoms.
I am strongly using art therapy in my sessions. According to this approach, it is being tried to built a bridge between life and art. Art is used as a tool in order to understand human beings' desires and conflicts. Art psychotherapists witness that art can be transformational in a constructive way. Through art therapy, I am inviting my clients to use different forms of art that resonate to them and I intend to facilitate this usage, if I believe that art therapy could help to our process with that spesific client.
