“We’re not broken; we’re human.”
I believe that each of us has the resources and potential to work through our challenges, even when it feels hard or impossible. My approach encourages you to hold limiting beliefs lightly, choose paths that align with your values, and actively engage with both your inner and outer world. This process fosters psychological flexibility, which I see as key to living a fulfilling life.
I specialize in working with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, emotional self-regulation, and ADHD. I’m particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and practice neuro-affirming principles in my work. These principles include respecting autonomy, validating differences, and nurturing positive self-identity, all of which create a compassionate and inclusive therapeutic environment.
What You Can Expect in Our Sessions
In our sessions, you can expect a shared responsibility and teamwork in a compassionate, behavior-focused environment. Each session typically includes three main sections:
Setting the Agenda: We’ll begin by discussing what you’d like to focus on during our time together.
Gathering Important History and Context: Understanding your unique experiences and background is crucial for our work.
Skill-Building: We will explore practical strategies to help you accept difficult emotions and thoughts, stay present in the moment, gain distance from unhelpful thoughts, and act in accordance with your values.
I’m here to support you on this journey of self-discovery and growth, fostering meaningful change along the way.
