I am a psychologist, trauma therapist, and image therapist with extensive experience working with international individuals affected by trauma, migration, and complex life transitions.
I am a licensed psychologist from Germany with over a decade of experience in clinical psychology, trauma therapy, and mental health support in diverse cultural contexts. I trained in psychology and psychotherapy in Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, and completed additional postgraduate specializations in trauma therapy, transcultural psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioural approaches. My professional path has taken me from Germany to Spain, the U.S., France, Jordan, Sweden, and back to Spain, where I have worked in clinical and humanitarian settings. In addition, I work in health psychology.
I am an avid reader and always keen to keep learning about health psychology, neuroscience, trauma, psycholinguistics, and anything "cultural".
I offer a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences at their pace. I integrate approaches such as imagery rescripting, solution-focused image therapy, and biography and resource-oriented methods, always trying to adapt my work to the individual needs and cultural background of my clients.
I would describe my style as collaborative, compassionate, and pragmatic, and I welcome clients who are looking for thoughtful, evidence-based support. I usually work resource-based and solution-focused.
If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed and would like to regain clarity, I can help you move forward. You are warmly invited to book a session with me.
I am a psychologist and trauma therapist with extensive clinical experience in both individual and multidisciplinary settings.
I am currently working as a health psychologist, and as a clinical psychologist in fully remote care.
Prior to this, I worked for several years at the Swedish Red Cross Treatment Center for traumatized refugees and victims of torture, where I provided trauma-focused psychotherapy for PTSD and complex trauma as part of a multidisciplinary team. I have assisted in humanitarian settings, including with UNRWA and a local grassroots NGO in Jordan. I worked in specialized services for migration and mental health in Sweden and Germany, including roles focused on trauma therapy, psychosocial support, and method development. I have extensive experience working with refugees, unaccompanied minors, and individuals affected by war, torture, and displacement, in both individual and group therapy settings.
In addition to clinical work, I have been involved in training, supervision, project development, and international mental health projects.
Before working as a therapist, I gained experience in the corporate world in HR roles, as well as working as an intercultural coach and consultant.
My postgraduate education includes specialized training in trauma therapy, transcultural psychotherapy, and solution-focused image therapy. I completed advanced training in trauma-focused methods such as EMDR, Imagery Rescripting, and cognitive behavioural therapy, with a strong emphasis on working with trauma, migration, and cross-cultural mental health.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Practice in Mental Health (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) from the Spanish Association of Clinical Cognitive Behavioural Psychology in Barcelona. I also completed postgraduate studies in Migration and Mental Health at the University of Barcelona.
I earned my degree in Psychology (Diplom-Psychologin / MSc equivalent) from the Technical University of Berlin. During my studies, I also studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Granada, gaining an early international and intercultural academic foundation.
