Someone who cares about creating a space where people feel safe, understood, and not judged. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. One where we explore your challenges together while also identifying strengths
I didn’t become a psychologist just because I was interested in theory. I chose this path because I am deeply curious about people; how they cope, how they survive difficult experiences, and how they rebuild themselves after feeling lost. I did my second Master’s degree in Positive Clinical Psychology & Technology at the University of Twente, where I focus on combining evidence-based therapy with a strength-oriented perspective.
In my work, I often meet people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or exhausted from carrying too much for too long. I try to offer a space where they can slow down and feel understood without being judged. At the same time, I am not a passive therapist; I believe in gently challenging patterns that keep people stuck and helping them develop practical tools they can actually use outside the session.
Living and studying in different cultural environments has made me sensitive to identity, belonging, and the quiet pressure many people carry. I work in English and Farsi and value honesty, depth, and collaboration in therapy. My goal is not just to reduce symptoms, but to help people reconnect with their strengths and move toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, structured, and grounded in genuine curiosity about the person in front of me. I see therapy as a partnership rather than a one-sided process. We work together to understand what is happening, where certain patterns come from, and what might be keeping you stuck. I believe insight is important, but insight alone is not enough — change requires both understanding and action.
I mainly draw from cognitive behavioural therapy and positive psychology. This means we explore thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and core beliefs, while also paying attention to strengths, values, and what gives your life meaning. I aim to balance emotional depth with practical tools. Sessions are reflective, but also goal-oriented. I may gently challenge unhelpful patterns, suggest exercises between sessions, or help you experiment with new ways of responding.
I completed my second Master’s degree in Positive Clinical Psychology & Technology at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. This program focused on evidence-based psychological interventions, the integration of research and clinical practice, and innovative approaches to mental health care. My training emphasizes cognitive behavioural therapy, positive psychology, and structured, outcome-oriented work with clients.
Previously, I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in Iran, where I developed a strong foundation in psychopathology, psychological assessment, and therapeutic interventions. This education strengthened my skills in case conceptualization, diagnostic thinking, and working with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood difficulties, and trauma-related concerns.
I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which provided me with fundamental knowledge in developmental psychology, personality theory, research methods, and counselling skills. Together, my academic background reflects a solid theoretical base combined with applied clinical training and a continued commitment to professional development.
