I’m a traumatherapist, resilience coach and facilitator, nervous system regulation specialist and educator. I mainly work with Somatic Experiencing (SE)®, a holistic resource- and body-oriented approach for the healing of traumatic and chronic stress. It is the life’s work of the internationally recognized trauma researcher and therapist, Dr. Peter A. Levine.
I especially enjoy working with English-speaking clients and have specialized experience supporting individuals from international backgrounds. Sessions are also available in German.

Physical and mental ailments are often consequences of chronic stress and trauma. Trauma may result from a wide variety of stressors such as accidents, invasive medical procedures, sexual or physical assault, emotional abuse, neglect, war, natural disasters, loss, birth trauma, or the corrosive stressors of ongoing fear and conflict, or even just strenuous life events that happened too often, too quickly or too suddenly. Somatic Experiencing (SE)® facilitates the completion of self-protective motor responses and the release of thwarted survival energy bound in the body, thus addressing the root cause of trauma symptoms. This is approached by gently guiding clients to develop increasing tolerance for difficult bodily sensations and suppressed emotions.
The goal of Somatic Experiencing (SE)® is to restore the body’s natural self-regulation and, as a result, transform and heal the symptoms experienced in the body.
I offer both individual sessions and group trainings - both also online.
