About this event

An open conversation for anyone feeling uneasy about AI

AI is changing how people work, learn and look for information and support. For many people, this brings a persistent unease: not knowing what the future holds, what to trust, or whether they can keep up with how fast things are moving.

In this Mind Mingles conversation, Johanne, clinical psychologist and co-founder of It’s Complicated, talks with psychologist Gina Keefer about why AI feels unsettling, and what helps when it does.

What We’ll Explore

  • Why AI touches so many fears at once, from job security and climate change to what we can trust

  • AI and our sense of identity, purpose and being human

  • The fear of losing control as AI moves faster

  • How AI might reshape connection, intimacy and our expectations of one another

  • The difference between legitimate concern and anxiety that keeps us stuck

  • Finding our footing and making meaningful choices in an uncertain future

  • Your questions, and what it means to be human in a world shaped by AI
