About me

I try to live from my own moment-to-moment experience, and I offer others the same freedom: the space to say what’s true for them and to find their own meaning. In therapy, this means finding a perspective that makes life a little easier and brings you closer to what matters.

I work with people who feel stuck or overwhelmed, who are exhausted from holding everything together, and who want to reconnect with their inner sense of direction, especially in times of transition or when searching for meaning.

My work is to be present, to create supportive conditions, and to ask questions that help you explore how you want to grow, how to care for your needs, and how to communicate them. When you’re met without judgment, something in you can finally breathe.

I am a medical doctor with experience in anesthesiology and general practice, now working as a therapist in Berlin and online. I’m trained in systemic family therapy and am in the final year of my Gestalt therapy training in the Netherlands. Living abroad taught me a lot about transitions, uncertainty, and how hard it can be to belong in a new culture. I’ve been through this myself, and it shapes how I meet people: with honesty, curiosity, and respect.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Family therapyRecommended for families who want to resolve conflicts, improve communication, and understand each other better within the family dynamic.
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.
Systemic approachRecommended for those who want to look at how different systems—like family, work, or society—affect their behavior and relationships.

My work is rooted in Gestalt therapy and systemic thinking. Much of what we struggle with, such as stress, withdrawal, anxiety, low mood, addictive behaviours, or difficulties in relationships, can be understood as ways of coping that once made sense. These ways of coping don’t have to define you today.

I work in a direct and collaborative way, without judgment. We pay attention to what is happening right now: in your body, in your emotions, and between us in the session. We also explore the wider context of your life, including your history, family, and culture.

I see therapy as an exploration of what we keep returning to, what these repetitions may be telling us, and how they shape our contact with ourselves and others.

Sometimes a shift is small and physical: a deeper breath, a bit less tension, or feeling a little more like yourself in the room. From there, more freedom, connection, and aliveness become possible.
