I'm a certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist from Russia based in Barcelona.
My professional path began with studying general medicine at the First Moscow State Medical University, after which I completed a clinical residency in psychiatry at the Psychiatric Hospital No. 1 in Moscow. As a student, I was actively involved in WHO-curated research projects in Italy and Chile. During my residency, I also undertook training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Beck Institute in Pennsylvania, USA.
With a background in psychiatry and psychotherapy, I gained work experience at the European Medical Center in Moscow, where my primary focus was on providing mental health care to foreigners living in Russia. I had an opportunity to work with people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, improving my understanding of intercultural mental health care.
During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic I also gained work experience in a general practice, furthering my medical skills and knowledge.
Additionally, after completing my specialization, I pursued postgraduate training in Cyberpsychology. During my studies, I researched the use of new technologies to diagnose mental disorders, for which I received scientific awards at two International conferences (CyPsy 26 in Paris, ICDVRAT 2024 in Prague). I'm always looking for innovative insights in the study of mental health and passionate about using modern technology in psychology and psychiatry.
