About me
I'm an experientially oriented therapist with academic background in psychology. I grew up in Sweden, then lived in Norway for a few years before taking on studies in Scotland. During my near decade there, I completed undergraduate studies in Psychology and training in Person-centred Psychotherapy and Counselling. Ready for the next chapter, I moved to Berlin in the summer of 2021 to reconnect with family, creative contexts and expand my passion for the counselling profession. I have recently completed training with MIND Foundation in psychedelic integration, and training to facilitate psychedelic integration workshops both online and in-person
My interest in people includes the unique ways in which we experience ourselves in relation to others, and how we draw meaning from what life throws our way. My impression is that many of the answers to our implicit or explicit questions can be found if we're allowed to take the time to get in contact with the nuances in our feelings and sensations, and receive support in symbolising them. Simple, and yet so challenging, and as cliché as it sounds I really believe that self-connection is all about the process, a journey, for which counselling can be deeply valuable
Other interests that all somehow mingle with my therapeutic self include club culture, yoga, sound and visual art, spirituality and methods of altering our subjective states, sexuality and relationship dynamics, political philosophy and participatory culture

My approach
My impression is that people have a powerful inner sense of direction and source of nurture, and that this resource often becomes a bit suppressed by our interpretations from difficult experiences in our past and present relationships. My sense of 'living well' includes to be able to stay in close and accepting contact with what our whole body is quietly (or loudly) trying to tell us, without adding pressure to this sensitive system. Exploring and integrating this inner depth can be an effective way to find a stronger sense of connection, meaning and engagement in our daily experiencing, with room for a wide range of emotions and nuance
My approach is to stay close to the moment-to-moment experience of my clients - 'tracking' their process, both in order to understand their particular world and also to promote self-awareness by offering non-judgmental reflections. I see myself as an intrinsic part of the counselling relationship, and strive to communicate any hunches, intuitions and sensations that appear to me as relevant for the clients. As a therapist valuing relational congruence I stay humble to my limitations in knowing what's ultimately right for the clients, and yet I feel committed in the potential to co-create a unique and trusting environment for the client to become more authentic and self-fulfilled. I encourage clients to set the direction and pace of our work - my agenda is first and foremost to meet them exactly where they are and offer genuine acceptance along empathic curiosity
I currently work online with clients resided within Europe, and offer in-person therapy at Mittelweg 50 in Berlin
