About me
Originally from Northern Ireland, I lived in Scotland for 10 years and then moved to Frankfurt, Germany in 2019. I found my vocation in the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy during my Masters degree in Psychology in the genuine encounter and therapeutic process that occurs in counselling.
Over the last 7+ years my practice has broadened, drawing upon other psychotherapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural, Existential and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
Following a move to Frankfurt am Main, I have embarked on developing a private practice to offer psychological counselling to English-speaking individuals in the area and online.

My approach
My practice is Pluralistic, which means that I can draw upon a number of different psychotherapeutic approaches in order to best support you as you explore and process the issues you bring to sessions.
The foundation of my practice is Person-Centred, in which you are trusted as the expert in your life, and so are the best person to know what decisions are best for you. The therapy centres on the faciliation of a trusting and nurturing therapeutic environment in which you can explore your issues, reflect and receive gentle challenge.
Pluralism also states that there may be particular approaches that fit you better, and so I draw upon knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural, Existential and Solution-Focused Brief therapy.
Pluralistic therapy is a collaborative process in which we work together to identify therapeutic goals, discuss preferences for therapeutic approaches and review your sense of the therapeutic process regularly.
