Proficient in English and Mandarin, I am a passionate counsellor who is dedicated to provide a safe space where my clients are able to freely explore the depths of their strengths.
As an English & Mandarin speaking clinical counsellor, I am dedicated to helping individuals like you explore the struggles in their lives and find the support they need to overcome them. I understand that life can be filled with complexities and challenges that sometimes seem insurmountable. However, I firmly believe that, no matter the circumstances, every person has the potential for growth and resilience. I am here to offer you a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions, explore your struggles, and embark on a path of self-discovery.
My goal is to work collaboratively with you, drawing upon evidence-based techniques and personalized strategies to help you navigate life's challenges and find solutions that resonate with your unique needs and goals. Together, we can explore the depths of your experiences, foster resilience, and work towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I earned my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Economics in Waterloo, Canada, followed by master's degrees in Developmental Psychology and Education in Toronto, Canada, and Clinical Psychology in Leiden, Netherlands. Growing up, I've been travelling and living in multiple countries so I am capable of providing therapy sessions and service in both English and Mandarin.
My therapeutic approach is mainly based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe in the power of collaboration and tailor each session to the unique needs and goals of my clients, fostering a safe and supportive environment for self-exploration and positive change.
