I am a multi lingual integrative counsellor and coach, based in Amsterdam and online. I specialise in supporting expats, couples and families through the psychological weight of transition, identity and belonging.
For the international community, finding a counsellor who truly understands your experiences, not just your circumstances can make all the difference.
I specialise in supporting expats navigating relocation and cross-cultural transitions, couples working through connection and communication, and families raising Third Culture Kids. As a parent of two Third Culture Kids, I understand this journey from the inside.
I work with organisations as an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Clinician to support mental health and resilience in the workplace.
I hold a Master of Counselling from Monash University, Australia, and am registered with the Nederlandse Federatie Gezondheidszorg (NFG), practising within a regulated Dutch professional framework with a formal code of ethics and complaints procedure.
Originally from Malaysia and with a diverse mindset shaped by living in 8 different countries over the last 26 years, I bring both clinical training and the lived experience of an expat to this work. I offer sessions online and in-person in Amsterdam, in English, Malay and Cantonese, with conversational Mandarin and Thai, and basic German.
My approach is integrative and person-centred, meaning I do not work from a single fixed model but draw from a range of evidence-based methods tailored to each person's unique needs, history and goals. At the heart of everything I do is a genuine belief that the capacity for change already exists within you. My role is to help you find it.
I work holistically, attending to the emotional, psychological and relational dimensions of what you are experiencing. For internationally experienced individuals and families, this often means holding space for the complexity of living between cultures: the losses that don't get named, the identities that shift with every move, the relationships that carry the weight of transition.
As a certified psychedelic practitioner, I offer 1:1 integration support for individuals seeking to make sense of a psilocybin experience. What determines whether anything truly changes is what you do afterward, how you process it, embody it, and bring it into the life you are actually living. That is what integration work is for.
