About me

As an integrative counsellor, my aim in therapy is to bring about lasting structural changes to the way you think, feel, act, embody your experience, and relate to others. To ensure we find the right support for you, I offer a free starter package, consisting of a free 60m first consultation and 34% off on your first 5 sessions to get a feel for therapy before you commit to a process.

To help those who need help most but can't access it, I founded Bridging the Gap, a mental health startup where we train the next generation of integrative therapists and provide the right type of counselling for you at an affordable rate from €33/session. See our website for more info.

Our aim is not merely helping you get back to a "normal" level of "functioning," but to allow you to become more fully yourself, discover what matters most to you, and help you live the life you want.

In our work we go beyond mere symptom relief and help you understand the deepest layers of yourself by examining how your past is playing itself out in you present cognitive, behavioral and relational patterns. We help you live more fully in the present, in line with your values and the courage to face reality the way it is.

Our goal is to help everyone access the support they need with the right therapist, with the right level of experience, at a price that is sustainable in the long term.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
IFS: Internal family systemsRecommended for those who want to explore and heal the different parts of themselves that might feel conflicted or overwhelmed.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.

Most people come to therapy because something isn't working, and most already sense it goes deeper than the obvious. Beneath the anxiety, the burnout, the relationship friction or the feeling of never quite being enough, there are patterns rooted in earlier experiences that have shaped how you see yourself, how you relate to others, and how you move through the world.

The work we do together is aimed at changing that, not at the surface, but at the root. People who commit to this process tend to find themselves becoming less driven by shame, fear, and old grievances, and more by a sense of authenticity, heartfelt desire and autonomy. They report feeling more at ease in their own skin, more capable of real intimacy, more able to regulate intense emotions without getting overwhelmed, free from the grip of outdated habits and impulses, and able to show up fully to their live, work, and relationships.

Integrative counselling brings together multiple schools of therapy, into one comprehensive system, which allows us to create a personalized therapy tailored to your unique personality, needs, and goals. What our therapy will look like and what we focus on each session will evolve as you get to know who you really are, what you need, and what matters most to you. In some sessions we will make sense of and process traumatic experiences from your past, others we'll strategize how to best pursue your career goals or deal with a challenging relationship issue, again other we help you develop the habits to live your best life.

As one client put it: "Working with Cas has been a truly transformative experience. His guidance has helped me make meaningful strides in both small, everyday ways and in the bigger picture of my mental wellbeing and self-understanding."

Making this kind of change requires genuine commitment. I work best with people who are ready and willing to prioritize the therapy process, show up consistently, and don't shy away from the work between sessions. In return, I bring my full attention, to every session and provide resources for you to study and work with by yourself. Most people notice meaningful shifts within the first month of consistent work. Deeper, more structural change tends to emerge over six to twelve months. This shows up everywhere: in how you feel, how you relate to others, and how you focus on your work and what matters most to you.

In the words of another client: "Because of the caring, steady and consistent way Cas shows up, I’ve been able to experience, maybe for the first time ever, what a safe and healthy relationship actually feels like. That has changed me in ways I didn’t think were possible, every step I now take is more secure and life doesn’t feel like walking on eggshells that are about to crumble anymore."
