I am a psychologist with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy from one of Romania's leading universities, and over a decade of experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Over the years, I supported people through depression, OCD, panic attacks, health anxiety, sexual dysfunctions and relationship struggles, both in my private practice in Cluj-Napoca and through online sessions.
After losing my mother to cancer and facing the shortcomings of the healthcare system in Romania, I went through a difficult year of grief. That experience changed me deeply and led me to relocate to The Netherlands, a place that felt more aligned with my values and ambitions.
During a time when continuing psychotherapy work wasn’t easy, I turned to Human Resources, where I could still support others in meaningful ways. As a Recruitment Consultant in the Maritime Industry I helped professionals navigate big life transitions, developing even stronger skills in empathy, communication and connection.
Through it all, my passion for mental health remained strong. I continued offering online counselling, helping people explore their inner worlds and find new ways to cope and grow. I believe in evidence-based techniques, particularly those rooted in CBT and ACT, but also in the power of a compassionate, human connection.
I care deeply about helping people see things in a new light and find their own way through challenges. I work to create a space that feels safe, kind, and free of judgment. My approach is both practical and caring, I focus on finding real solutions while also offering support and reassurance when it's needed most.
I value honesty, openness, kindness, humor, and a healthy dose of discipline— both in my work and personal life. In my free time, you’ll often find me doing yoga, bouldering, hiking, watching movies, or enjoying stand-up comedy and dance shows. I also love spending time with my partner and friends, and having meaningful conversations.
