I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a range of psychological disciplines to meet each client’s unique needs. I combine scientific knowledge with the latest developments in psychology, using insights from behavioral genetics to help individuals better understand and reprogram deeply rooted thought and behavior patterns.
While I focus on individual patterns and personal development at a micro level, I also guide clients in exploring broader life questions, such as their role in the world and their sense of purpose, whether approached from a spiritual, existential, or personal perspective.
In addition to my therapeutic practice, I work as a company psychologist and have extensive experience with work-related issues. I have in-depth knowledge of sick leave procedures in the Netherlands, both from a psychological and juridical perspective. Over the years, I’ve supported hundreds of individuals in re-integrating at work successfully again, from companies such as BMW, Philips, and Bol.com, helping employees navigate burnout, workplace stress, and learning to set and maintain healthy boundaries at work and to keep a life-work balance.
My work is both detailed and structured, I have attention for detail and I provide clients with personalized summaries after sessions to support their reflection and progress.
