About me

As a NIP registered MSc Psychologist, my practice is built on a foundation of deep warmth, unconditional acceptance, and profound understanding. I believe the strongest therapeutic progress happens in a space where you feel truly heard and safe. I draw upon evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Focused Therapy. My goal is to not just manage symptoms, but to foster lasting, meaningful change. I approach every client journey with genuine compassion, helping you explore difficult emotions and past experiences without judgment, enabling you to move toward a more fulfilled and authentic life. My professional commitment lies with individuals navigating complex life challenges. I have dedicated my career to working with sensitive and marginalised communities, including extensive experience supporting migrants, students, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those struggling with addiction and trauma. Being a migrant myself, I bring a unique and personal lens to our sessions, understanding firsthand the complexities of identity, displacement, and cultural adjustment. This dual foundation — of robust clinical skill and lived experience — allows me to offer therapy that is not only expert and trauma-informed, but also truly culturally sensitive and deeply human.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Schema therapyRecommended for those who want to break out of negative patterns or "schemas" that they developed early in life and keep repeating.
Trauma Informed CareRecommended for those who have experienced trauma and need a safe, supportive space to heal at their own pace.
My approach to therapy is not one-size-fits-all; I view our work as a dynamic and active partnership. It is grounded in deep warmth, genuine compassion, and unconditional empathy and acceptance, ensuring you feel truly safe, seen, and heard from the moment we begin. I strongly believe that you are the expert on your own life, and therefore, we engage in active collaboration throughout the entire process, moving away from a traditional 'expert-patient' model. While our sessions are gentle and supportive, they are also focused on growth. I will gently but firmly ask the difficult questions, in order to challenge unhelpful patterns and help you move past sticking points toward deeper self-insight. I utilise a flexible and integrated therapeutic approach, carefully blending interventions to create a treatment plan that is completely client-tailored. I draw upon robust, evidence-based frameworks like CBT, ACT, and Schema Focused Therapy to understand underlying patterns and drive lasting change. While I am proficient in diagnostics and protocoled treatments, I have a strong preference for working outside the box. We will work together, exploring and experimenting with new perspectives. The focus will be strictly on your individual goals and preferences to foster outcomes that are realistic, achievable, and sustainable long-term, ensuring the growth you experience continues long after our sessions conclude.
