About me

As a Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioral Therapist in advanced training (4 year post-master training), I focus on supporting adults and adolescents facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, burnout, relationship issues, and the complexities that come with neurodiversity (autism, ADHD). I also work closely with parents of children on the autism spectrum, guiding them through the unique challenges and strengths that come with neurodiversity. Being an expat myself, I further specialize in helping individuals navigate the emotional and cultural difficulties of living abroad. My approach is evidence-based, integrative, and always tailored to the individual’s needs. My passion for psychology started in high school, sparked by a fascination with how the mind works and the quiet strength people show during difficult times. Since then, I’ve committed myself to helping others better understand themselves and find practical ways to heal and grow. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming feelings or simply seeking greater clarity, I’m here to provide a supportive, grounded space where change can begin. In our work together, we’ll take a practical and thoughtful approach, always tailored to your individual needs, to explore your challenges and develop strategies that fit your life. My goal is to help you make meaningful changes that feel right for you and to teach you skills you can use long after therapy ends to support your well-being.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Positive psychotherapyRecommended for those who want to focus on building strengths, increasing happiness, and enhancing their overall well-being, rather than just focusing on problems.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) CBT is at the core of my practice. It’s a structured, evidence-based approach that helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By working together, we’ll uncover the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and develop practical strategies to create lasting change. CBT empowers you with tools to manage difficult emotions and navigate challenges in a clear, manageable way. Integrative Therapy I also draw on integrative therapy techniques, combining elements from different therapeutic approaches to best suit your unique needs. This flexibility allows us to address various aspects of your experience- emotional, cognitive, and behavioral- providing a more holistic understanding and tailored support. The goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard and understood on multiple levels. Positive Psychology Incorporating positive psychology, I focus not only on addressing difficulties but also on building your strengths and resilience. By highlighting what’s working well in your life and fostering hope, gratitude, and optimism, we can nurture a more balanced and fulfilling outlook. This approach supports growth and well-being beyond symptom relief. Coaching Alongside therapy, I use coaching techniques to help you set clear goals and stay motivated. Coaching complements therapy by focusing on your personal development, practical problem-solving, and creating actionable steps toward the life you want. It’s a forward-focused approach that encourages empowerment and self-efficacy. Individualized Approach Above all, my approach is tailored to you. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I believe therapy works best when it fits your personality, values, and life situation. Together, we’ll adapt methods and strategies to your individual needs, ensuring that the support you receive feels relevant, respectful, and effective.
