My name is Bibiana, but everyone calls me Sissi. I’m an NIP-registered therapist based in the Netherlands.
I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, I moved to Amsterdam to pursue my studies in psychology, and I’ve called this city home ever since. Having navigated the challenges of being an expat myself, I deeply understand the emotional complexities of starting over—loneliness, uncertainty, and the search for belonging.
I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, where I specialized in clinical psychology and psychological methods. I continued my academic journey with an MSc in Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University, graduating with distinction from both universities.

I have been working as a private therapist for the past year, providing evidence-based psychological support to individuals. My practice focuses on schema therapy and relationship dynamics.
Prior to this, I completed my clinical internship at the Amsterdam UMC, where I trained under a sexual psychologist. We conducted MRI research looking at the physiological changes on the clitoris between pre-and post-menopausal women.
Additionally, I have experience in psychiatric volunteer work in Hungary, where I supported individuals facing severe mental health challenges.
