I’m Zeynep, a psychologist (MSc) with a background rooted in both science and Eastern wisdom. My path began in traditional clinical psychology, yet over time I was drawn to explore the body’s central role in healing — through dance, movement, and somatic awareness.
Today, I integrate evidence-based psychology with body-oriented approaches, supporting people to regulate their nervous systems, process emotions, and reconnect with a deeper sense of aliveness and ease in daily life.
Originally from Turkey and now based in Amsterdam, my work is shaped by my own experiences of migration, adaptation, and self-discovery. Since completing my studies, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and personal growth.
Alongside my clinical work, I’ve been deeply engaged in dance and embodiment practices such as Contact Improvisation, which bring creativity and grounding into my sessions. I also facilitate Contact Beyond Contact workshops — spaces where movement, presence, and connection become tools for healing and self-expression.
At the core of my work is a simple curiosity: what helps us feel alive, connected, and free? Whether through therapy, movement, or community, my intention is to create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover the natural joy of being fully present in their bodies.
My approach is rooted in Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) — methods that bring together psychological understanding with direct work on the nervous system and the body.
In our sessions, we focus on the emotions and sensations that live beneath the stories — the subtle layers where unfinished patterns or unprocessed experiences often remain. By bringing awareness and regulation to the nervous system, we create space for completion, integration, and healing to naturally unfold.
This work helps transform incomplete trauma cycles and emotional patterns that no longer serve us, restoring a sense of safety, vitality, and flow in the body.
While the process is deeply effective for trauma resolution, it’s also supportive for a wide range of themes — such as stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, creative blocks, or the search for deeper self-connection.
Each session is an invitation to slow down, feel, and reconnect with the body’s innate intelligence — opening the way toward greater aliveness, presence, and ease.
