I help individuals and couples rediscover connection and balance. As an expat psychologist, I understand the challenges of belonging and guide clients toward clarity, growth, and renewed relationships.
Born and raised in London, I have been living in Belgium with my husband and children for the past 25 years. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Over the years, I have combined my work in hospital, and private settings to develop a deep understanding of human relationships and emotional wellbeing.
I began my career at the University Hospital of Leuven, where I worked in the Couple and Sex Therapy Team under Professor Dr. Peter Rober. This experience shaped my systemic approach and strengthened my passion for exploring how relationships influence our sense of self and connection to others. Today, I continue this work as a systemic psychotherapist affiliated with the Interactie Academie in Antwerp, alongside my private practice. Since 2023, I am a licensed supervisor in relationship and family therapy, guiding professionals in their clinical growth.
As an expat myself , I understand the unique challenges of adapting to new cultures, environments, and identities. My personal and professional experience with international clients allows me to offer a compassionate and culturally sensitive space where people can reflect, heal, and rediscover balance in their relationships and lives.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in systemic thinking, which means I view each person within the context of their relationships, environment, and life story. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change, especially when given the space to explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion.
In my work, I aim to create a safe, reflective, and collaborative atmosphere where clients can better understand themselves and the patterns that shape their relationships, strengthen connection, and open new perspectives.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate issues such as communication difficulties, emotional distance, cultural transitions, and relational conflicts. My role is to support clients find clarity, reconnect with their values, and build more balanced, meaningful and fulfilling relationships.
