I am a psychologist with a Bachelor’s degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, social anxiety, stress, and difficulties related to self-confidence and relationships.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. This allows me to work both with present-day difficulties and with emotional patterns that may have developed over time. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or advice, but about understanding what is happening internally and creating space for more conscious choices.
Many people I work with appear functional in daily life but feel internally overwhelmed, anxious in social situations, uncertain in relationships, or disconnected from their sense of self-confidence. In our sessions, we focus on what feels most important to you in the moment, while also gently exploring deeper emotional themes when relevant.
I have experience working with individuals and groups in clinical, community, and online settings. Having lived abroad myself, I am familiar with the emotional challenges that can accompany change, relocation, and questions of belonging.
Psychotherapy, for me, is a collaborative process grounded in empathy, respect, and emotional safety. Ongoing personal therapy and clinical supervision are central to my work and support my commitment to ethical, reflective, and attentive clinical practice.
In sessions, we work together to understand how specific thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are connected to your current difficulties. Depending on what feels most relevant, this may involve identifying patterns that maintain anxiety or self-doubt, exploring emotional reactions in relationships, or developing practical ways of coping with challenging situations.
My work integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. This means we can use structured techniques when helpful, while also allowing space to reflect on emotional experiences and relational patterns that emerge over time. The focus is not on quick solutions, but on developing insight and flexibility that support lasting change.
My ongoing training in group analysis informs my understanding of interpersonal dynamics and the impact of relationships on emotional life. This perspective supports a careful and attuned way of working, even within individual therapy.
