My name is Georgia, and I come from Cyprus, a small island in the Mediterranean. I've always struggled with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which means my brain loves to worry about everything—sometimes even worrying about worrying itself! My own journey with therapy and the positive changes I’ve experienced inspired me to become a therapist. After high school, I moved to England to pursue my degree, and since then, I’ve lived in three different countries. I later specialized in clinical psychology and developed an interest in mindfulness, eventually becoming a mindfulness teacher. I love exploring different cultures and learning new ways of being. I also enjoy listening to and making music, and consider myself a creative person.
My therapeutic style is built on empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based methods. Having personally experienced my own struggles with mental health, I understand the challenges that many clients face, which helps me bring genuine compassion to our work together. I believe in the power of therapy to create meaningful change, and my goal is to help you become your own therapist by empowering you to navigate your own healing process.I use a tailored approach, combining therapeutic techniques that best suit your unique needs. I ensure that each session is relevant, effective and aligned with your goals. Having lived as an expat since I was 18, I’ve developed a strong sense of cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the challenges that come with adapting to new environments. I integrate this awareness into my work, especially when supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, to ensure a respectful and inclusive therapeutic experience. Above all, I strive for transparency in our work together, ensuring we set clear, achievable goals. I value honesty, clarity, and a touch of humor, as I believe these qualities help foster a supportive and comfortable environment where you can feel empowered to take charge of your mental well-being.
