I am is a licensed psychologist with a private office in Greece where I work individually with adults and adolescents. I work as a Psychologist remotely with clients in the UK, Germany and the UAE.
I have many years of experience as Global Wellness & Resiliency Manager where I managee a global clinical program supporting employees on social media with a focus on prevention against Trauma and Burnout.
I am also a PhD Candidate in Counselling Psychology at the University of East London where I specialise in the synthetic practices of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Commitment and Acceptance Theory.
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh and qualified in Organisational Psychology and Psychiatry from King's College London with training in Clinical and Organisational Psychology with a focus on clinical diagnosis, CBT, Mindfulness and workplace mental health support. During my postgraduate degree, I excelled in research into alternative therapies for the management of panic disorder. Further, she qualified as a trainee solicitor at City, University of London.
Throughout my work experience she has supported a large number of clients in the treatment of psychological conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, phobias, PTSD, personality disorders and addictions.
More specifically, she has worked as an external collaborator with the Psychiatric Clinic of AHEPA in the diagnosis, support and treatment of acute clinical cases such as psychoses, bipolar disorder, suicidal ideation and eating disorders.As a next step in her career, she worked as a psychologist in refugee facilities of the International Organization for Migration - United Nations. She carried out psychological assessments of asylum seseekers (victims of abuse/torture, psychoses, suicidal ideation, PTSD) and conducted individual or family psychotherapy sessions for their support and treatment.
