Hello, I'm Nasia – a Greek psychotherapist in training, currently based in Athens. My journey has been shaped by movement and return: I was born and raised in Greece, spent three transformative years in the Netherlands pursuing my studies, and recently came home to begin building my practice here.
I studied Psychology at the University of Crete, where my curiosity about how we develop and heal first took root. That curiosity led me to Leiden University, where I completed my Master's in Child and Adolescent Psychology, and now continues through my four-year training in Systemic–Affirmative Psychotherapy at the Synichisis Center, accredited by the European Family Therapy Association.
My work has taken many forms – from providing psychosocial support to children and adolescents at SOS Children's Villages in Heraklion, to collaborating with Terre des Hommes in the Netherlands on trauma-informed tools for young survivors of exploitation. These experiences have taught me that healing happens in relationship, in the space between people, and through the stories we're able to tell about ourselves.
What matters most to me is creating spaces where young people – especially those navigating difficult circumstances – feel truly seen and heard. This is why I've chosen to volunteer with children and adolescents from refugee and migrant backgrounds, and why I offer individual counseling through milamou.gr. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation that matters, not a clinical process you endure.
I'm constantly learning – through seminars, workshops, and most importantly, through the people I have the privilege of sitting with. I'm here because I believe in the resilience of young people, in the power of connection, and in the possibility of change.
