My journey as a therapist is deeply connected to my own lived experience and evolving understanding of the world, as I strive to remain conscious of the societal structures that shape our lives. I am committed to challenging these structures, both within myself and in my work, by engaging critically with the norms and assumptions that influence our perceptions and interactions.
Drawing on the shifting identities of a Mediterranean, cis|het man, I have lived experience of the shifts of contemporary masculinities, as well as the dilemmas of fathering young boys, on top of the challenges of balancing work\life and a satisfying marital relationship.
In my years of practice, I strive to provide a space where every individual feels seen and heard. I draw from systemic, critical, and narrative approaches, emphasizing the importance of language and stories in shaping our realities. This perspective allows me to collaborate with individuals and families as they explore their experiences, recognize patterns, and reimagine possibilities. I have worked extensively with men in crises, either personal or professional, people in life's transitions (migration, work, parenthood, relationships, etc), intercultural families. It is a privilege to witness the courage and resilience of those who entrust me with their stories, and this inspires my ongoing commitment to equity and justice in all aspects of my work.
I believe that the essence of therapy lies in dialogue—an exchange that fosters understanding, empowerment, and growth. By holding space for diverse perspectives and experiences, I aim to co-create conversations that honor the complexity of each person’s life. This work is not only my profession but also my personal calling, rooted in a desire to contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate world.
