Expressive Art Psychotherapy combines Gestalt, Jungian and Psychodynamic principles together with artistic modalities such as drawing, authentic movement, authentic singing, creative writing and music improvisations. The uniquness of this integrative approach is that most of the things that are bothering us have their roots in the unconscious and the unconsious communicates to us through symbols. Therefore, expressive arts is an approach that let us see below what we already think or we already know and allow us to comprehent a deeper meaning of our thoughts, feelings and actions. I would summarize my work as a therapeutic journey that passes trough the images and rhythms of ones' soul to end up in a more coherent, embraced and vitalised sense of ones' Self.
