I am a board-certified, licensed psychotherapist located in Atlanta, Ga. I am Polish-American and was born in Chicago. In addition to my career in psychotherapy I hold a degree in literature. I am highly-sensitive and empathetic. Seeking understanding and caring for people is something I have done naturally since I was younger. Many of my clients also possess these natural abilities and deserve to know that they are worthy of the same care and understanding they provide to others. I care about my clients and I’m honored to help them process their past experiences, change negative thought patterns, uncover their natural strengths, find self-acceptance, and make choices they take pride in.
I incorporate a combination of treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral, existential, humanistic, narrative, psychodynamic, dialectical behavior therapy, and family systems therapy. I am experienced in working with both adolescents and adults through individual, group, couples, and family therapy. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-defeating thought patterns, family and relationship issues, codependency, trauma, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
I believe that individuals deserve to feel heard, to feel valued, to find inner peace and self-acceptance, and to create a life that brings them happiness and meaning. As a therapist, I seek to be an ally and an advocate. I help my clients come to a greater understanding of their inner struggles and needs and develop tools they can use on their journey towards healing and growth.
