My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral interventions with humanistic and liberatory psychology principles. While I value evidence-based tools and structured interventions, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative, respectful, and non-hierarchical space. I believe therapy should adapt to the person, not the other way around.
I strive to create a safe, affirming environment where clients can show up as they are, without fear of judgment. My work is especially grounded in LGBTQIA+ affirmative practice, with attention to how gender, sexuality, culture, migration, and social contexts impact mental health. Together with my clients, I work to understand patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior, while also honoring their personal narratives, identities, and strengths.
Therapy, for me, is a shared process of curiosity, care, and empowerment. I aim to support clients in developing greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, and autonomy, while validating their experiences and fostering meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
