About me

I'm a passionate Clinical Psychologist with a modern and unorthodox approach to psychotherapy . Former Professor and Researcher at Universidad de Buenos Aires I now devote entirely to my private practice alternating between Buenos Aires and Barcelona. I'm fluent both in Spanish and English after having lived and studied in the US and the UK and have been catering to the Expat Community for more than a decade now. My research lines, which inform the book I am currently working on, cover mainly Relational Psychotherapy, Sexualities, Attachment Styles and Gender Studies. As a former interpreter and opera director I see the therapeutic process as both a meticulous and creative journey into deciphering the many - often unknown- voices that sing our personal histories. I believe there's a unique music to every soul that needs to be unveiled, and ultimately played. You have the keys to your wellbeing, so let me guide you to them and ultimately, to your self-realisation.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Clinical psychologyRecommended for those who need help with diagnosing and treating more complex mental health issues, often involving assessments and evidence-based treatments.
Trauma Informed CareRecommended for those who have experienced trauma and need a safe, supportive space to heal at their own pace.
Connecting with others is at the heart of human nature. It's what make our lives livable and our bodies healthy. But human relationships are far from simple. In an era of extreme individualism and social media's superficial and narcissistic interactions one needs to unlearn unhealthy patterns of thought and behaviour and learn more genuine ways to express one's true self. My work with clients is based on the holistic approach of a bodymind unit that needs to be cared for, explored, and revered in all its aspects, whether deemed positive or negative. Integrating all aspects of one's personality leads us to a less judgemental and patient approach to life. And since judgements stem from ancestral family mandates, you'll explore them with me as a guide, under the principles of Psychodynamic Theory. And once your true wishes have been expressed and your goals set, I will resort to additional treatment strategies that might include elements of CBT therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and of course, Mindfulness, which is at the core of all my practices. Last, but not least, we need to be aware that in a world where people seem to have lost the power of listening, I rely on my "musician's ear, broad-mindedness and experience to make your therapeutic journey truly rewarding.
