My name is Chiara, I have a degree in Clinical Psychology and I carried out my internship training in a hospital setting. I subsequently expanded my training by 4 years in cognitive-constructivist psychotherapy. In 2016 I dedicated myself to scientific research activities in the field of clinical psychology and psycho-oncology in Australia. Upon my return to Italy in 2018 I intensified my clinical practice and I started deepening my experience into trauma-response related issues and in the field of psyco-neuro-endocrino-immunology (PNEI) and somatic therapy. Today I live in Spain, in Barcelona where I carry out my activity both online and in person and lead therapy groups in collaboration with other professionals in a studio in the center of the city. When you decide to embark on a path to work on yourself, you are no longer alone on that path. Each session is most importantly a safe space where we can explore your deepest thoughts, your fears, your hopes and create a new relaitonal experience. Whether you are facing a moment of crisis, a major change in your life, or simply feel the need to understand yourself better, our work together will give you a new way to be with yourself, a different sense of presence and a much deeper awareness on who you truly are.
The cognitive-constructivist approach is based on the assumption that each person constructs reality based on their own internal rules, through their own life experiences, thus creating their own internal mental map necessary to orient themselves in the world. Imagine that each of us carries with us a “lens”, built over time through experiences, emotions and memories. It is through this lens that we interpret the world, our relationships and what happens to us. Therapy then becomes a path of exploration to understand how we have constructed these visions, what they have served us for in the past and to find new ways of seeing and experiencing reality. Freer, safer and closer to what we really want.
