I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and grew up in an environment where emotions and thoughts were an essential part of everyday life. Early on, I realized how deeply our feelings, bonds, and often-unconscious conflicts shape our experiences. This understanding inspired me to become a psychologist and to specialize in a psychoanalytic approach.
For the past 20 years, I have dedicated myself to working with both the mind and the heart. Half of this time has been devoted to child psychotherapy, an experience that has greatly enriched my understanding of adult patients by offering a deeper perspective on the roots of emotional life.
My journey as a migrant has also shaped me personally and professionally. Witnessing firsthand the challenges of migration—the transitions, the sense of loss, and the process of adaptation—has broadened my perspective and deepened my empathy.
These experiences have allowed me to grow not only as a person but also as a therapist. Today, I strive to bring an integral and versatile approach to my work, offering patients a space of respect, understanding, and thoughtful care.
