My professional path began with studying general medicine at the First Moscow State Medical University, where I actively participated in WHO-affiliated research projects in Italy and Chile. After medical school, I completed a clinical residency in psychiatry at Psychiatric Hospital No. 1 in Moscow, graduating with honors and earning the highest possible score across all subjects. During my residency, I also completed formal training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Beck Institute (USA).
With a background in psychiatry and psychotherapy, I gained work experience at the European Medical Center in Moscow, where my primary focus was on providing mental health care to foreigners living in Russia. I had an opportunity to work with people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, improving my understanding of intercultural mental health care.
During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic I also gained work experience in a general practice, furthering my medical skills and knowledge.
Additionally, after completing my specialization, I pursued postgraduate training in Cyberpsychology through the Erasmus Mundus program. During this period, I focused on researching the application of emerging technologies for the assessment of mental health. My thesis research received scientific awards at two international conferences: CyPsy 26 in Paris and ICDVRAT 2024 in Prague. I am particularly interested in innovative approaches to mental health care and am passionate about integrating modern technology into psychology and psychiatry.
