I often work with people who have tried talk therapy and feel like it didn't resolve the core issue. I've seen somatic therapy be especially helpful for people who tend to over-think, over-analyze and may already understand logically what's going on for them.
Battling anxiety and constantly questioning yourself is draining and can stop you from moving forward in the direction you desire.
In somatic therapy, you’ll reconnect with what your body is trying to communicate and support your nervous system to move from feeling drained and anxious towards more balance and ease.
For me, healing isn’t about fixing or reinventing yourself, it’s about offering yourself radical acceptance and compassion for who you are, as you are, today. By blending somatic therapy, IFS parts work, expressive arts therapy and mindfulness we find what works for you in therapy.
My therapeutic style is deeply body-centered, holistic, and intuitive, blending somatic therapy, IFS parts-work, mindfulness and expressive arts therapy.
What is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy is about getting out of your head and making space to actually feel what you're feeling. This approach helps you let go of what you've been holding and restore your nervous system, which may feel stuck in a state of "fight, flight or freeze".
I aim to create a warm, safe container where your nervous system can shift from chronic stress or emotional dysregulation toward balance and ease. I look forward to supporting you to live beyond your fears and step forward with more trust and confidence in yourself and the path you're on.
