About me

I have vast international experience in the USA and Europe (Serbia) and strive for culturally-sensitive, responsive, and humble therapy. I believe my clients have the capacity to create beautiful, long-lasting change. Over the years, I have found that challenging yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically ultimately leads to a life filled with meaningful relationships. When you're willing to examine yourself, much is revealed. My areas of specialty include individual therapy, couples therapy, relationships issues, depression, anxiety , anger management, relationships transitioning (adding a baby!), long distance relationships, parenting issues, boundaries, burnout and professional/work challenges. I use warmth, compassion, intuition, optimism, and collaboration. I tend to be active in therapy, and although I find listening to be incredibly important, I am known to challenge my clients, highlighting where they may be stuck, and encouraging their transformation. I am fluent in English, Serbian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Bosnian.

I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey between therapist and client. Through compassion, warmth, and curiosity, I provide a safe environment for clients to explore the factors that hinder growth and perpetuate feeling stuck. I believe everyone has the capacity to form a deeper connection to self and arrive at the change they may be seeking. My hands-on and holistic approach will aid in the journey towards facilitating a higher sense of self-awareness. By strengthening your emotional wellbeing, gaining insight into your triggers and reactions, and disrupting unhealthy patterns you can develop and maintain fulfilling relationships, sustain personal growth, and gain an authentic acceptance of self. I will bring together therapy models backed by the latest research and decades of empirical support including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and utilize various methods adapted to clients’ problems and individual goals which includes techniques from cognitive behavior therapy, gestalt, schema, Jungian depth psychology, Internal Family Systems etc. I am currently offering online sessions and limited number of in-person sessions.
