Warm, Active CBT Psychotherapist for Individuals & Couples | English, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin
Do you feel like you keep circling back to the same place, no matter how hard you try to move forward? Maybe that shows up as a pattern with your partner that neither of you can quite break. Maybe it's a feeling that follows you through your day, even when things look fine on the outside. Whatever shape it takes, you don't have to make sense of it by yourself.
In our work together, I listen closely, and I also stay close to what I'm noticing — the pattern you keep returning to, the thing you almost said and then didn't. I'll name it gently, and we'll sit with it together for as long as it takes to understand what it's asking of you. Clients often describe our sessions less like an appointment and more like an honest conversation — one that can hold some difficulty, and still leave room for warmth, and even humor.
I've built my practice across the USA and Europe (Serbia), and that has shaped how I try to show up for people — with real curiosity about your culture, your context, and whatever particular weight you're carrying, rather than a one-size-fits-all script. I work with individuals and with couples, and what I've come to believe, over and over, is that people carry more capacity for change than they usually give themselves credit for.
I offer therapy in English, Serbian, Croatian, Montenegrin, and Bosnian, so we can do this work in whichever language feels most like home to you.
What Working With Me Is Like
I hope our sessions feel like a real conversation, not an interrogation. I'll ask questions, but I'll also gently reflect back what I'm noticing, so it never feels one-sided. There's room for lightness here too — this doesn't have to be heavy all the time to be meaningful. And when I sense something worth naming directly, I will, even if it feels a little uncomfortable at first — because that's often where the movement happens.
If you're coming in as a couple, our sessions will move between the two of you speaking directly to one another and each of you speaking with me — so you leave not just having been heard by me, but by each other.
So much of the real work happens in the hours between our sessions, not just the one we spend together. So I'll often send you something small to carry with you afterward — a short reflection, a few questions to sit with, an exercise shaped around whatever came up that day.
Areas of Focus
I work with individuals and couples on:
● Relationship challenges — communication breakdowns, conflict, infidelity, intimacy
● Major life transitions — new parenthood, relocation, career change, long-distance relationships
● Anxiety, depression, and anger management
● Burnout, professional stress, and boundaries
● Self-exploration — understanding your triggers and breaking patterns that keep you stuck

I view therapy as a collaborative partnership—a safe space where we work together toward your goals. Therapy with me is an active partnership. Because real transformation happens in the 167 hours outside of our weekly session, I provide tailored, actionable resources to accelerate your growth. After our sessions, you will receive follow-up notes, reflective quizzes, ABC cognitive diaries, or targeted exercises to try in your daily life.
I draw on evidence-based methods — primarily Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and CBT — alongside tools from DBT, Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Jungian depth psychology, and I let the mix shift depending on what you actually need, rather than leaning on one formula for everyone.
With couples, this often means paying attention to the loop the two of you keep landing in together — while also making room for what each of you is quietly carrying into it on your own.
I'm currently offering online sessions worldwide, along with in-person sessions in Belgrade.
Please feel free to reach out or schedule a free introductory call to discuss how we can work together.
