About me

I’m working in private practice, in Belgrade, Serbia, but I also cooperate on different research projects at the University of Belgrade, where I’m currently writing my Ph.D. thesis. I’ve worked as a school psychologist, and as a psychology teacher in high school, but also as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy. I am volunteering at a Belgrade-based hospice, providing psychological support for oncology patients.

In my free time, I like to watch movies and TV shows, but also listen to music and explore different kinds of art (currently focused on abstract expressionist paintings). I also like to take amateur photographs of socialist architecture and go for long walks and hikes. In the past, I’ve been an avid sports fan, but lately, I’m more focused on reading novels and spending time with my dog.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.

In my practice, I apply the humanistic approach - always putting significant emphasis on developing a high-quality, trusting, understanding, and empathetic therapeutic relationship. I create a safe space, where my clients can appear as they are.

Through our sessions, I encourage my clients to explore and apply the tools for overcoming daily challenges or facing the meaning and emotions of past experiences. Understanding those experiences, which impact us emotionally and socially, is a crucial first step to leading a better and more fulfilled life. Allowing repressed emotions to be felt, even if they are painful or frightening is a process I can guide my clients through.
