I have always felt drawn to understanding people and their inner worlds, which is why psychotherapy feels less like a profession and more like my calling. After completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, I continued to deepen my path through training in Gestalt therapy. This approach resonates with me because it values authenticity, presence, and the belief that real change comes through new experiences rather than abstract knowledge.
In addition to my private practice, I am currently employed at a psychiatric clinic where I provide psychological assessment, education and psychotherapy to patients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression and personality disorders. My clinical work has a special focus on various forms of addiction, from substances (alcohol, drugs, pills), to behavioral dependency (gambling, pornography, social media etc.). In this setting, I've learned to appreciate how complex each person's story is, and how important it is to approach with empathy and respect.
My own long-term journey in therapy has been just as important as my professional education. It has taught me to face vulnerability with courage and to see struggles as meaningful opportunities for growth. This lived experience allows me to meet my clients not only as a therapist, but as someone who understands the challenges of navigating relationships, self-doubt, and change. I aim to bring warmth, curiosity, and honesty into every session, creating a space where clients can feel supported and safe to explore themselves.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, and learning languages. Humor is also an essential part of who I am - both in life and, at times, in my therapy sessions, where it can open space for connection and relief. I would also describe myself as a bit of a psychology nerd, always eager to dive into new ideas and perspectives. At the moment, I am learning German, and one of my goals is to perfect at least one more language, as I see language itself as another way of connecting deeply with the world and with others.
My practice is currently located in Belgrade as well as online.
