Psychotherapy, for me, is a space where we can explore ourselves - our hearts and minds within a safe, meaningful, and trusting relationship. It is a truly unique process that takes time, trust and mutual commitment to develop.
Many of the people who come to work with me are carrying a sense of disconnection—whether from their emotions, their bodies, their relationships, or their sense of home in the world. Some have learned to function well while feeling inwardly numb or distant from themselves. Others are facing transitions such as relocation, cultural adaptation, relationship changes, burnout, or questions about meaning and identity. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, deepen awareness, and gradually restore a more authentic connection with oneself and others.
From a Gestalt perspective, we do not exist separate; we are constantly shaped and formed through our relationships with others. Because of this, the quality of the therapeutic relationship - alongside the therapist’s knowledge and expertise - is one of the most important factors in successful therapy.
In my work, I integrate several therapeutic approaches, including Gestalt, somatic, psychodynamic, and family constellation work, adapting them to the needs of each individual.
Alongside psychotherapy, I have a deep interest in Dharma and Buddhist psychology. I have spent significant time studying and practicing in various Buddhist centers, particularly at Plum Village Zen Center in France. I find that this perspective offers practical wisdom that can support us in living more present, meaningful, and joyful lives, while also helping us relate to suffering in a more compassionate way.
Art also plays an important role in my life. Recent research (Fancourt, Karkou, & Fonagy) are showing that engaging in artistic activities can be highly beneficial for mental health, including depression - sometimes even more effective when combined with traditional approaches. I encourage my clients to start practicing some form of arts.
In my free time I enjoy ceramics, knitting, calligraphy, gardening - and, of course, spending time with my cat, Yuki :)
