My approach to working with clients is individualized, aiming for a profound understanding of each person’s history, experiences and perspectives. I provide empathic guidance that integrates principles from CBT, ACT, Logotherapy, and Existential Analysis. At the beginning of the process the emphasis is on understaing better your current context, coping mechanisms and challenges. From there, we explore and work on the unhelpful patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, that may have been preventing you from recognizing and realizing your values, strengths and talents. In light of my therapeutical approaches, I see each problem not merely as an obstacle, but as an invitation to personal discovery and growth.
Some of the topics I address include the following: anxiety, stress and burnout, intrusive and obsessive thoughts, impostor feelings, perfectionism, procrastination, boredom, indecisiveness, emotional difficulties, self-confidence, personal development, life's transitions, international romantic relationships and relational issues.
On It’s Complicated Platform I work with clients in both English and Spanish and have spent several years now supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Finally, If you’d like to hear directly from me first, you can visit the Media Gallery section on my profile, where I have a video explaining my approach. The first 2 minutes and 25 seconds are in English, and the remainder is in Spanish.
