About me
I was born in Brazil, São Paulo and have lived in California (U.S.A), where I worked as a bilingual therapist in a mental health clinic. Back in Brazil, my experience empowered me to continue studying and focusing my practice on helping a variety of people from whom I learned the art of caring, the beauty of cultural diversity and the power of transformation through inner work.

PsychoanalysisGood for those who want to explore how their unconscious mind and early experiences affect their current behaviors and feelings.
My approach to psychotherapy is the psychoanalytic method in which a person is encouraged to investigate with the help of free association, his or her unconscious motives and roadblocks that could be hindering his or her personal growth and conflict resolution. I work on looking into the causes that brought the distressing symptoms so the person can understand the reasons why suffering persists, patterns are repeated and by doing so make better choices for his or her life.

1991 to 1993 -worked at a multidisciplinary clinic in Hanford, California (USA), working with children, teens and adults in groups and individually especially in the sexual abuse department
