Around 10 years ago, while studying for my first master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, I began working with CBT and Schema Therapy. Although both approaches were effective, they didn’t fully resonate with me. One thing led to another, and I eventually stumbled upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). To be honest, it first changed my own life—and later, the lives of many of my clients.
To deepen my understanding, I pursued a second master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in Italy. In addition to exploring various theoretical psychological perspectives, this program also provided me with a strong foundation in neuroscience. As a result, I now also offer Neurofeedback as part of my practice."
ACT is my primary therapeutic approach; however, it’s the client and their unique story that guide me in choosing the most suitable method—whether that’s ACT, CBT, or Schema Therapy. Of course, in cases involving trauma, EMDR is also a valuable option.
