Hi! I'm Hajra (she/her), an English-speaking therapist offering online sessions for expats, creatives, and/or students navigating trauma, burnout, anxiety, and identity challenges.
I work with individuals who feel lonely, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted; whether due to past trauma, cultural displacement, addiction, or relational stress. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. Together, we create a space where you can unpack what's weighing you down and start to feel more connected and empowered in your life.
As a member of the FLINTA, BIPOC, and expat communities I understand the complexities of living between cultures, negotiating multiple identities, and trying to feel "at home" in unfamiliar places. This lived experience fuels my drive for offering culturally competent, affirming, and non-judgmental care.
My therapeutic work is trauma-informed, body-aware, and integrative. I adapt to your needs rather than fit you into a rigid method. Whether you're dealing with burnout, anxiety, low self-worth, interpersonal conflict, or substance use, we'll move at your pace and build safety together.
Before becoming a therapist, I studied Psychology in the UK and the Netherlands, worked in clinical addiction settings, taught Psychology at university level, and collaborated with NGOs in Sri Lanka and India to support vulnerable communities. But what brings me the most meaning is working 1-on-1 with clients and holding space for their stories and growth.
I am currently accepting new clients! Feel free to message me to book a free 15-minute consultation and see if we're a good fit :)
