I believe that every person has their own inner power for growth and individual development and that therapy can help to restore and recconect with those. I view psychotherapy in my practice as an offer to work through ones own mental problems and the stress connected with those. It is of great importance to me to offer a transparent, individually adapted, non-judgmental approach that is in line with current scientific findings. Therefore my approach to therapy is an integrative one combining classical cognitive-behavioral therapy with current approaches such as schematherapy, emotion focused therapy, mindfulness and dialectic-behavioral therapy.
I am convinced that through taking the courage to acknowledge and work with one's own stressful feelings a better quality of life can be (re)gained.
Please note that I am not affiliated with public insurances (like TK or AOK etc.) and can therefore only accept clients who have private insurance or self-pay.
It is possible to try and get your public insurance to refund the treatment ("reimbursement") but that might take a bit of time and effort for you as a client. If you are interested in reimbursment, clients make one self-payed appointment to get to know me and then start the process with the insurance company.
