About Anna

I am a clinical psychologist (M.Sc.), working with children, adolescents and adults.
I trained for my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Open University of Israel, followed by Master degree by the Steinbeis University of Applied Sciences Berlin (SHB) and the German Heart Center Berlin (DHZB), specializing in medically oriented psychology. Already in my studies I have dealt with both psychological issues as well as scientific questions in detail, and thereby got a bright knowledge in the consultation and diagnostics of patients. To extend my proficiency in the field of child and adolescent psychotherapy, I am currently training in the field of Children and Adolescents Psychotherapy by German Society of Behaviour Therapy (DGVT).
I was born in Russia, moved as a teenager to Israel, and now live over ten years in Germany. Through my extensive Language skills, I could better understand young patients and their cultural background. I support my young clients by giving them the possibility to know and accept themselves better through child play therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as dialectical behavior therapy, providing a way to express their experiences and feelings through a natural, self-guided, self-healing process.

My Approach

I am using and combining different psychological approaches, in accordance with the needs and wishes of my clients. For example, play therapy helps children with social or emotional issues learn to communicate better, change their behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and relate to others in positive ways. In similar way Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies together with commitment and behavior-change strategies in order to increase psychological flexibility.
