About me

Hello! I'm Julieta Fiorentino, a psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field. My journey began at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I pursued a Master's in Psychology. Early on, I specialized in psychoanalysis, particularly in the Lacanian orientation, which is widely practiced in my home country. In 2019, I relocated to Berlin and am excited to offer my services to the Spanish and English-speaking communities in the area, as well as online. My diverse background in mental health includes various roles that have provided me with a well-rounded perspective. I have experience working with both adults and teenagers, which has greatly influenced my current approach. I aim to create a space of trust where individuals seeking help can comfortably discuss their pain. Through conversation and analytical listening, we can explore those areas that remain unclear, fostering a commitment to the personal truth each individual carries. I am addressing those who may feel stuck despite having tried various solutions, as well as individuals currently facing challenging situations that are difficult to endure. My goal is to make those moments more manageable. I don’t expect to completely eliminate people’s pain. Pain is a natural part of life, and there are some things beyond our control. However, through analysis, I believe we can help individuals navigate their lives more effectively and overcome obstacles that prevent them from moving forward.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Lacanian PsychoanalysisRecommended for those who want to explore the unconscious mind through the lens of language and desire, focusing on understanding deeper motivations.
PsychoanalysisRecommended for those who want to explore how their unconscious mind and early experiences affect their current behaviors and feelings.
I approach each session with an open-minded and curious mindset. In psychoanalytic therapy, you are encouraged to discuss anything on your mind. The Lacanian approach is characterized by specific listening. By focusing on language and the way you speak, we uncover unseen themes. Why seek analysis? There are many valid reasons for pursuing therapy. What may seem trivial to one person can hold significant meaning for another. Our individuality ensures that each subjective experience is shaped and expressed uniquely. Those seeking professional support often face issues that have become overwhelming and difficult to manage alone. One issue might involve a persistent question or concern that lingers and resists easy resolution. Psychoanalysis offers a distinctive perspective to explore the complexities of one's experiences. In my consultations, I aim to foster a sense of trust. I am actively engaged in our journey together, guiding you while respecting your pace and rhythm.

Experience

9 years in practice
From 2020 up until now, I’ve been solely working in my private practice with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, bodily symptoms, stress, trauma, relationship conflict, and work issues. Before relocating, I worked in Hospitals and day clinics in Buenos Aires, Arg. The individuals I worked with were undergoing comprehensive treatments, grappling with diagnoses such as psychosis (schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, etc.). My role involved collaborating with coordinators, colleagues, and psychiatrists to develop clinical cases to enhance the patients' daily lives.
