About me

Availability calendar: Mondays and Tuesdays are for in-person sessions; the rest are for online appointments. Hello! I'm Julieta Fiorentino, a psychologist with over ten years of experience in the field. My journey began at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I immersed myself in the Master's in Psychology. Since very early on, I've specialized in and practiced psychoanalysis, specifically in the Lacanian orientation (widespread in my home country). Having relocated to Germany in 2019, specifically Berlin, I am enthusiastic about extending my services to the Spanish and English-speaking communities in the area and online. My diverse background in mental health encompasses various roles, providing me with a well-rounded perspective. I have had experiences working with adults and teenagers, which greatly influenced the approach I offer today. I wish to provide a space of trust where those seeking help can feel comfortable discussing their pain. Through words and analytical listening, we aim to touch those places that remain unclear, fostering each individual's commitment to a truth that runs through them. Who am I addressing? Those who may have tried everything and maintained the same suffering conditions. Also, individuals currently experiencing a particular situation find it difficult to endure and make that moment more tolerable to navigate. I don't have the illusion of forever eradicating people's pain. Pain is inherent to life. There are things we cannot control. But I believe that through analysis, we can help some people navigate their lives better and unlock some things that hinder them from walking towards their goals.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
PsychoanalysisRecommended for those who want to explore how their unconscious mind and early experiences affect their current behaviors and feelings.
In therapy, you can say and speak about anything you wish. Numerous situations may prompt someone to seek treatment; each reason is valid. What might appear trivial to one person could hold immense significance for another. Our uniqueness means that each subjective experience is shaped and expressed uniquely. Those who decide to pursue professional support often grapple with issues that have intensified and become challenging to navigate alone. It could be a persistent question that continues to weigh on them, refusing to be quickly resolved. Seeking support is a courageous step toward addressing these concerns. Psychoanalysis provides a unique lens through which to explore the intricacies of your experience. In my consultations, I aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of your issues and personal narrative by engaging in attentive listening and targeted interventions. By fostering a safe environment, I guide you on a journey, helping you gain insight into your experiences and navigate life's complexities with greater clarity.

Experience

8 years in practice
Before relocating to Germany, I collaborated with diverse teams and professionals in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2011, I embarked on my professional journey as the "Responsible of the Day" at Day Center La Puerta. Subsequently, I ventured into private therapeutic accompaniment with the center's patients. It marked the formal initiation of my introduction to psychoanalytic clinical practices. The individuals I worked with were undergoing comprehensive treatments, grappling with diagnoses such as psychosis (schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, etc.). My role involved collaborating with coordinators, colleagues, and psychiatrists to develop clinical cases to enhance the patients' daily lives. From 2013 to 2017, I coordinated the therapeutic accompaniment team at Agora. During this period, I honed my skills in constructing clinical cases and conducting differential diagnoses, contributing to the evolution of my clinical approach. Our work encompassed a broad spectrum of cases, ranging from children with autism to adults dealing with psychosis. In 2014, I participated in group therapy sessions as an intern for patients admitted to INEBA, a psychiatric clinic. A year later, I embarked on another internship as a clinical psychologist at the Center of Mental Health Number 3 Arturo Ameghino. After obtaining my Master's Degree in July 2016, I established my private practice, catering to teenagers and adults in Argentina, engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds. In early 2018, I relocated to Germany, and by 2020, I initiated my private practice, offering in-person and online consults in Berlin. I have been accredited to offer Psychotherapy under the rubric of the Heilpraktiker, beschrank auf das Gebiet der Psychotherapie (Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie). I am happy to receive you for a consultation. Don’t hesitate to message me!
