My Areas of Expertise:
I work with adults using a depth-oriented approach that honors the complexity of human experience. Often, what we feel doesn’t fit neatly into a category, so I invite you to think in terms of symptoms. Symptoms can serve as guides, revealing underlying needs and pointing to areas of life that require attention and care.
People reach out to me when they're experiencing:
-Something they can't quite name but are looking for a safe space to explore
-Overwhelming emotions such as stress, persistent anxiety, deep sadness or loneliness
-Struggles with guilt, shame, self-compassion, or their relationship with themselves
-Challenges in relationships, communication, or intimacy that feel repetitive or stuck
-Life transitions such as adapting to a new culture, or feeling disconnected from what once felt meaningful.
My Approach:
I view symptoms not as problems to eliminate but as signposts on the path toward understanding yourself. Thus, how you define and understand your own situation is where we begin. Together, we work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you, honoring both what you bring to our sessions and what emerges between us.
My foundation is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I'm currently deepening my practice through weekly supervision and additional training in psychodynamic approaches. I'd be happy to answer your questions about them!
