I am a Turkish&English-speaking licensed psychologist, providing evidence-based, personalized support to adults navigating life’s challenges and enhancing overall well-being.
My Background: I’m Özge, a psychologist trained in Turkey, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, currently living in Germany.
Over the course of my training, I worked as a research assistant and completed clinical placements in centers across Turkey, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Most recently, I supported a healthy aging startup in Germany with my psychology expertise. This multicultural and diverse experience shapes my approach to counselling.
Since October 2021, I have been working in my private practise. Currently, I am working with adults both in person in Berlin and online, offering evidence-based, tailored support to navigate challenging moments and strengthen overall well-being. I continue my professional development through ongoing trainings and weekly supervisions.

My Areas of Expertise: I work with adults using a depth-oriented approach that honors the complexity of human experience. Often, what we feel doesn’t fit neatly into a category, so I invite you to think in terms of symptoms. Symptoms can serve as guides, revealing underlying needs and pointing to areas of life that require attention and care.
People reach out to me when they're experiencing:
-Something they can't quite name but are looking for a safe space to explore -Overwhelming emotions such as stress, persistent anxiety, deep sadness or loneliness -Struggles with guilt, shame, self-compassion, or their relationship with themselves -Challenges in relationships, communication, or intimacy that feel repetitive or stuck -Life transitions such as adapting to a new culture, or feeling disconnected from what once felt meaningful.
My Approach: I view symptoms not as problems to eliminate but as signposts on the path toward understanding yourself. Thus, how you define and understand your own situation is where we begin. Together, we work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you, honoring both what you bring to our sessions and what emerges between us.
My foundation is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I'm currently deepening my practice through weekly supervision and additional training in psychodynamic approaches. I'd be happy to answer your questions about them!
