I am a clinical psychologist specializing in working with adults based on the psychodynamic approach.
I have a Psychology degree from Boğaziçi University and a Master's in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2021. Throughout my master's program, I gained valuable clinical experience by working with adults from diverse backgrounds in the psychological help unit of the university. I received intensive supervision in both English and Turkish languages. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Experimental and Clinical Linguistics at the University of Potsdam.
Since 2019, I have been conducting psychotherapy sessions in my private practice, providing mental-health support to individuals facing various challenges. I have also worked as a clinical psychologist, collaborating with psychiatrists in the psychiatric service of a state hospital from 2020 to 2023. My professional experience encompasses assisting clients with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, traumatic events, immigration-related issues, losses, gender-identity crises, existential dilemmas, and relational difficulties. I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural, racial, and gender backgrounds.
I prioritize creating a safe, compassionate, and nurturing therapeutic space with my clients, building on empathy and trust. Establishing a secure bond between therapist and client is vital in the therapeutic process. The intake sessions focus on understanding your unique experiences, needs, and priorities. We determine whether a long-term or short-term approach best suits your circumstances and embark on this transformative journey together.
I look forward to the possibility of working with you and providing the support you need on your path to growth.
