Individual Approach:
In my work, I employ the latest Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) approaches, in particular Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), while also receiving supervision from an experienced CBT-CFT psychotherapist. These methods have proven to be very effective for addressing all kinds of anxiety and phobias, depression, burnout, procrastination, confidence issues, and other psychological challenges. My aim is to provide you with the tools to help you overcome your daily struggles and lead a meaningful life, as well as cultivate compassion towards yourself and those around you.
Beyond conventional methods, my interests extend to practices such as yoga, breathing techniques, meditation, dream analysis and hypnosis. I'm trained in hypnotherapy and hold certification as a yoga instructor, including breathwork and meditation. I've learned to work with dreams through extensive self-study and self-application. Within my sessions, I am open to integrating these elements as appropriate.
Our first appointment will usually be an intake interview, where I gather information on your background and what brings you to therapy, following standardized questions. Together we can then set an action plan for future sessions and figure out what we want to work on. The upcoming meetings will typically last about 50 minutes and will be less strictly structured, as we start exploring issues and working towards your goals, selecting techniques on an individual basis.
I welcome persons of every race, gender, religion, ability and sexual orientation. If you'd like to know a little more about me and the way I work, feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to talking to you :)
Group Therapy for Polyamory and Concentual Non-Monogamy:
Many people are exploring connection through polyamory, open relationships, or consensual non-monogamy for the first time. This can be inspiring, meaningful, and just fun! It can however also bring up questions—about identity, self-worth, jealousy, or how we relate to others. This group is a place to talk openly about these experiences, and also about whatever else you are carrying in your life. The focus is on being real with each other, listening, and finding new ways to connect. If you feel shy or socially anxious and think group therapy might not be for you, that may be exactly why it could help. Often the deepest healing happens when we discover we are not alone. The group will be co-facilitated by me and KayLee Flower, a Psychologist and Psychotherapist in State Training. Individual support can also be arranged if needed. Groups will be 90-minute sessions, starting in January 2026 (tentative), we hope to have around 10 members. If this speaks to you, please reach out.
